RE: BDIC Headquarter at Plot 277 Isaac Adaka Boro Expressway, Yenagoa Bayelsa State.
    —————————————————————————–
This information is being posted here for us to see and provide comments, if desired. Going down memory lane, it will not be an overstatement that those of us that have been involved in different online social media forums for more than six months will recall that the issue of BDIC allegedly been headquartered in London and regional office located in South Africa was intensively discussed/debated on this forum. I recall that majority of forumites including my very humble self had frowned against HSD and his Restoration government as to why a Bayelsa State owned Corporations’ head office should be sited outside the shores of our state/Country. Unfortunately at that time, we did not get any answer from the government including BNMT which is being overseen by SSA John Idumange, neither did the Chief Press Secretary to HSD or any other agency including BYS Ministry of Information came out to refute what we read. Nevertheless, we continued discussing the matter on these forums until things quieted down, but with the hope that it will re-surface again at the right time. I thought I should share this current information about BDIC as it might not be known to all. I myself was only fortunate to come across the attached information through a friend who is based in Bayelsa. My friend was very shocked to hear from me that the issue of BDIC Headquarters in Yenagoa wasn’t known before now. Does anyone among us know about this information that I am sharing with us at this time? If not, this information has come to us although late, but will clear the air on this matter. So, if you reside in Yenagoa/Bayelsa, you should feel free to confirm my post or you should find time to go check the location where BDIC is currently located (as shown on these pictures), and then report back to the group. If these pictures and address of BDIC is true, one can then only state that BNMT and other governmental institutions that are currently under HSD’s administration are either not doing their jobs effectively or have not been giving Bayelsans and Nigerians, as well as people residing outside of the shores of Nigeria with the right information for us to applaud or make the needed observations that will help remedy any given situation as the case might be. Having said this, we therefore urge Governor H.S Dickson to look into our concerns as Bayelsans so as to foster a workable and inclusive government that will enable him to get mass support for a sustainable/successful tenure. We want our Excellency Governor Dickson to succeed so that when he leaves office, his name will be written in stone in Bayelsa/Nigeria history books and not in pieces. God Bless. Sir Boston Edogi
