GROUP PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON DICKSON’S ADMINISTRATION, AS IT MARKS TWO YEARS IN OFFICE

As the Bayelsa State Government gets set to commission a number of developmental projects including the multi-billion naira Yenagoa/Tombia/Amassoma road as part of activities marking the Restoration government’s two years in office, a non- governmental organization, (NGO), Bayelsa Action Group, Lagos has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Seriake Dickson, urging him to sustain the tempo of development across the State.

The Government, in the last two years has completed sizeable number of road project while others are ongoing including the three senatorial district roads. It will be recalled that in December, 2013, the State Deputy Governor, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (Retd) for the first time in the history of the state drove to Nembe.

It would be recalled that Governor Dickson during one of his transparency briefings underscored the economic relevance of the Ogbia/Nembe road to the State and released a back-up fund of N3bn to…
